Here at St. Matthew we have added the Sunday Connection Scripture readings from Loyola Press to our website. At the beginning of every week, the Sunday Scripture (for the upcoming Sunday) is put into everyday English to help children and adults better understand the readings and connect with one another outside of Mass.

Each week's Sunday Connection is categorized into three areas:

Adults - summary of that Sunday's readings and background on the Gospel reading

Children - summary of the Gospel, an activity, and questions to help children to relate to the Gospel's message

Family - summary of the Gospel, questions to discuss, and a prayer for the whole family
