Ecumenical Partnership for Housing

EPH is in great need of volunteers and is currently in the process of changing and streamlining the way a home is readied for new residents. St. Matthew parish will still be responsible for Ruth House as in the past, but in the new method we will be able to help other churches with their process and they will be able to help us.  This will provide an opportunity for more involvement if you so desire.

EPH staff will be organizing teams for various tasks including cleaning, painting restocking, inventorying and exterior maintenance.  You will be receiving an email from Wendy, the office manager and volunteer coordinator asking for your participation and your preferred area(s) of interest.  Please prayerfully consider continuing to serve our EPH families. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the parish office 920-435-6811.  Also, if you have any friends, relatives or neighbors interested in helping, we welcome their help as well! Thank you!

EPH is a comprehensive, all-encompassing program to help homeless families transition from a life of turmoil, turbulence and dependency to a life of hope, stability and self-sufficiency. Through a community based collaboration between sixteen area churches and The Salvation Army, homeless families receive shelter, case management, mentorship, education support and budget counseling. St. Matthew Parish entered into a partnership and approved Dan Gallagher to represent our parish on the EPH Board.
