1 Jack Washington Wonderful World Weekend
Jack Washington was a St. Matthew Parish member, Green Bay Schools administrator and dedicated advocate for area students who faced the effects of homelessness. Following his untimely death in 2004 and in the spirit of Jack’s commitment to those students, a fund was established. Since that time, St. Matthew Parish, Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay Area Schools and other community leaders have pulled together to create a memorial fund in Jack’s name. Through it, support is provided to assist those students with school-related needs. Also, an annual college scholarship is awarded to a deserving senior. During the weekend masses of Feb.1-2, Michael Davis (Jack’s brother-in-law) will be presenting additional information about the fund. Your continuing support is greatly needed and appreciated. A basket will be located in the Parish Gather Space. Donations can be sent anytime to: Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, 320 N. Broadway #260, Green Bay, Wi 54303 For more information, please visit: Jack Washington Wonderful World Fund | ||||||
