November 18 Materials

Here's the link to watch and participate in our last GOF session! https://youtu.be/-U8SxxVXyHI

A couple things you will want to have handy before you start the video……in your November materials that we dropped off for you there is a jar that we’ll be using during this session.  You’ll also need a sharpie – any color works but a plain color like black is probably best.

GOF is spearheading a non-perishable food collection this weekend (November 21st & 22nd).  Most of us our fortunate to not have to worry about putting food on the table for our families.  It’s almost inconceivable to me that we have many, many people in our community who aren’t in that situation.  We had plenty of tight times as a family, and maybe had to menu things a bit creatively, but we always had food.

Food insecurity is a real thing in our community.  If you’re like me, and have been blessed to not have those concerns, let’s do what we can to alleviate that concern for our neighbors. All the food we collect will go to Paul’s Pantry where it will help families in our immediate area.  Take a look for deals in the grocery stores and help us stock the shelves for Thanksgiving.  Bring your food items to church and deposit them in the food collection barrels.  Doors are open by 3;30 on Saturday and by 7:45 am on Sunday.  If you aren’t coming to church these days because of COVID concerns, please pop over before or between mass times and leave your goodies.
