Our opportunity to gardening in Wisconsin is limited, so take advantage of
digging in the dirt as often as you can in the upcoming gardening season. At St. Matthew we can help fulfill your
gardening passion. St. Matthew grounds are divided in to 25 numbered areas;
each area is adopted by one of our parishioners. You can adopt and care for and area for one season
or can continue to maintain your area year after year. Some of our gardeners
have kept their same plot since our Adopt-A-Garden program began six years ago.
Other gardens have come and gone. This year we have several areas open for
Adopting. By choosing to Adopt-A-Garden, you are asked to keep the area
astatically pleasing by weeding, watering, and fertilizing. You can choose to
add annual flowers if you wish but this is not required. Most areas are planted
with perennials. Please call Penny at the ParishCenter
to find our which area you can adopt. 435-6811
