Family Transition time...

There are certain times of the year which our family is placed into a transition time, especially with 2 daughters in college and 2 sons in high school. The family fun, stress, chaos and activities of the summer months transition into homework and extracurriculars that are a part of the school year.

There will be long car rides, lots of packing and lifting and I'm sure some stree and anxiousness by everyone. This is part of family. Our marriage has created this family and we continue to support it through love. Our kids are a great gift to our marriage, and we are 'molded into something new' as our children continue to mature through their lives.

As Jolene, I and the kids strolled through Artstreet Sunday (in perfect weather), we enjoyed one last family outing followed by dinner on the patio...A great way to end summer!  The next time we will all be together will be Thanksgiving...
