We are reading another marriage book in preparation for our first Great Date of the season. (Friday, September 23) The book is called Spousonomics and it applies the laws of economic theory to marriage. It's quite funny and makes a lot of sense.
On my brisk walk this morning I (Jolene) was thinking about a technique they suggest...write a list of 4 things your spouse could do to make your life easier. Just 4...and they are supposed to be very specific like...check the laundry room every day to see if clothes need to be put away. (This is actually on my list!)
What would your list look like? Can you think of just 4 things that would make you happier? Can you trust your spouse to follow through, even if their timing may be different than yours? Would you be committed to fulfilling your spouses list?
