Eucharist
This weekend, our daughter Alison turned 19. We had a large family celebration (22 people), complete with a Thanksgiving feast. (her choice) Even neighbors stopped by with birthday wishes and to share dessert and coffee with us! At one point, Wayne commented on how loud it was, because everyone was engaged in conversation with someone else. Wayne asked the question, "How is this (motioning to our house full of chaos) not as Eucharistic as going to church on Sunday?"...We had gathered and welcomed people, we shared our stories with others, we sat down at table and shared a meal, we sent people off with love and prayers...truly a sacramental time of grace!
