I Choose You

Wayne and I recently saw the movie "Date Night" with Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Aside from being very funny, the movie had some touching moments. Our favorite scene came at the end of the movie when the couple reflects on their very "crazy" evening and marriage. Steve looks at Tina and says, "If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose you."

Of course, we were both crying watching this scene because we feel exactly the same way. We realize that we will never be "perfect" in our marriage - there are times we will choose our self over our spouse, but that is not the norm.

We can honestly say, after 23 years, we would do it all over again!
