Summer Dating

Summer has finally come to our house! Since I (Jolene) am a teacher I have now entered the time of year when I have to think about what I'm going to do and what needs to be done in the house. I'm thinking about painting the living room, or organizing and purging the book shelves. Doesn't that sound like fun! (NOT!)

A fun thing I DO get to think about, is how to spend some extra time with Wayne. We like to go see movies in the summer. A few years ago we started "$1.50 Tuesdays". Movies are $1.50 (maybe $2 now) at the Budget Theater and we try and go every week. We also like to take walks after dinner or take an ice cream trip to Zesty's or Frosty Tip. We also like to catch the free concerts around town and pack a picnic.

What do you do with your spouse in the summer? How can you schedule extra time for each other?
