Ordinary time

It's the end of the Easter season today with Pentecost. The Spirit is present even though we are irritable with each other, everybody is bored, dishes pile up, laundry is never ending, and it is remarkable how much toilet paper we go through!

Sounds like ordinary time...the time in our church when we celebrate God amidst the regular every day stuff of life. Our challenge is to keep reminding ourselves that God is present... and our vision needs to be focused on how God works in and through all of our life's ups and downs.

This week, try to see God in a situation or person at home, even when it seems impossible that God could be there.
