Run the Distance

For the first time in years, Wayne and I will not be able to run the Bellin Run next week. We scheduled a Marriage Preparation talk on the same morning, and since we are Marriage cheerleaders, we know the right place to be is with those engaged couples as they near their wedding date.

However, our hearts will still be on Webster Avenue, and Greene and East River Drive...pounding the pavement with our fellow jogging enthusiasts!

2 Timothy 4:7 comes to mind..."I have done my best in the race, I have run the distance, I have kept the faith." (Good News Translation) Even though we will miss this year, we are confident we will be doing our best encouraging the young couples to do thier best and run the distance of marriage, and to keep having faith in each other and God!
