A good idea?

This morning Wayne and I (and our teenage boys) got up and ran The Christy's Run in De Pere. It's a 4 mile run they have each Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with Celebrate De Pere.

When we sign up, it always seems like such a good idea...and then, as we are running up the hill at St. Norbert Abbey and approaching mile two, I (Jolene) always wonder "Who's idea was this? Was it worth dragging ourselves, and the boys out of bed? What was I thinking?"

Simulataneoulsy, Wayne is thinking, "Isn't it nice that we are running together. We are making great time. Let's pass these people!"

Funny how we each have our own view of the same event. I suppose that is the beauty of marriage...two people who are, at once, individual and intertwined.
