Holy Week

Each year, for over ten years now, Wayne has gone on a silent Holy Week Retreat at the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh. He leaves on Wednesday, and returns for coloring Easter Eggs on Holy Saturday afternoon.

Over the years I have faced his absense with varying feelings.... resentment, relief, compassion, jealousy, etc. This year I am just glad that he is taking time for himself...time for reflection and rejuvination..which in turn makes him a better man and husband.
